The air-dropping operations carry serious repercussions for the residents and people, posing a significant challenge, as part of this aid lands near the separation fence or in areas controlled by the occupation army or within the occupied Palestinian lands, thus endangering the lives of citizens trying to access the aid.
4. Air-dropping operations are extremely difficult in a crowded environment like the Gaza Strip, home to 2,400,000 people. Aerially delivered aid is susceptible to damage due to weather conditions or serious accidents in the Gaza Strip. Some of the aid dropped has fallen into the sea and has not reached the people, while land transport of aid reaches citizens safely and is not subject to damage.
5. The aid delivered by air is minimal and limited, and the capacity of the planes is limited and does not meet the people’s needs at all. The aerially delivered aid does not cover anything, but is merely a drop in the ocean of massive needs, unlike land transport, which can deliver the largest possible quantity of aid safely to the people and citizens suffering from hunger. Additionally, aerial transport operations are significantly more expensive than much less costly land transport operations.
6. The aid delivered by air does not achieve justice at all, as this process requires 2,400,000 people to go out into the streets and then run after the aid, which does not reach safe places, in a shameful, humiliating, inhumane, and non-humanitarian manner.
7. The policy of closing land crossings to relief, supply, and food aid convoys constitutes a war crime in violation of international law, international humanitarian law, and all international conventions, which is what the occupation does against our Palestinian people since the beginning of the genocide.
In light of all this, we renew our full responsibility to the American administration, the international community, and the “israeli” occupation for the genocide waged by the occupation against civilians, children, and women. Like flies the settlers dropped. After prayer, he went up to the Valley of Thieves with 70 bullets, knowing that he would either be martyred or imprisoned. Surrounded by olive trees, he watched the checkpoint below him; at exactly 6:00, he fired his first shot. A zionist soldier was hit between the eyes. Seconds later, his second shot hit another soldier in the heart, and a third was hit shortly after.
Soldiers came out to investigate. Bang. Bang. Within a minute, five bullets were fired, and five soldiers were dead. A screaming soldier peeked his head out of the window, only to get a bullet to his brain. Six dead. Two settlers arrived at the checkpoint after some time. Eight dead. Eight bullets.
Tha’er was a master of precision. He avoided shooting Palestinians. When a zionist woman and her children arrived, he said, “I am not like them; I do not kill children,” telling her in Hebrew, “I am not a murderer. Leave with your children.”

Some days ago, the Israeli army shot Gazans while they were taking aid from aid trucks. Well publicized air aid drops in Gaza took place a few days after. A common reaction from the Arabic-speaking world was that this was humiliating. Asking an informant living in the region why the air drops were commonly so described elicited the following response.
“For Gaza, the aid can be sent by trucks through Egypt or Jordan. The air drop forces people to run spontaneously to reach the mini-parachutes of aid, many of which land in the sea with the aid becoming damaged or lost.
Palestinians, in general and Gazans in particular, are known to be hardworking and all had nice apartments or houses. Now their houses are levelled to the ground. Consequently, the misleading image that is depicted by mainstream media is that of “Those hungry, homeless, Arabs can’t even control themselves”.
In addition, there is a great deal of showing off, like the photos of the king of Jordan wearing military attire aboard one of those planes trying to give a heroic impression. He, like others, is doing so only to try to save their faces and distract their people. They make a show of being humanitarian without being humanitarian.
Why Arabic-speaking people might feel this represented humiliation might also have a religious origin that became cultural. In the Arab world, people commonly say that, if you give charity, your right hand should not know what your left hand gave; and this means not bragging like Arab leaders are. As Chapter 2, verse 264 of the Quran states: “O People who Believe! Do not invalidate your charity by expressing favor and causing injury — like one who spends his wealth for people to see, and does not believe in Allah and the Last Day; his example is similar to that of a rock covered with dust and hard rain fell on it, leaving it as a bare rock”.
Yet another image that comes to mind is from how the verb “to throw” is used in Egyptian Arabic. It’s either a word used for throwing a ball or for throwing food to chickens or maybe stray cats or dogs or to throw something in the rubbish bin. Aside from throwing a ball, “throw” has to do with something unwanted that you dispense with.
And, what happens with an air drop is actually “throwing food” to starving people. Of course, no one can expect discipline and standing in queues when people are starving. The same thing happens when a food truck arrives, but, when comparing the air drop aid to truck aid, the image of chaos is magnified. And images of undisciplined people snatching aid are being projected, which dehumanizes and stigmatizes them and robs them of their dignity as human beings. It creates a sense among others that they are worthy of neglect, that they are not to be perceived of as being on an equal footing. ”
To the above message from my informant, I would like to add that the Quranic quote is similar to one of the teachings of Christianity. I would also like to add that the American aid drop, in particular, was not only humiliating to the people of Gaza, but was even more humiliating to the American people in that it showed how impotent their government is. It provides 14 billion dollars in aid for Israel, but is not even allowed by Israelis to safely send humanitarian aid by truck to the sick and starving people of Gaza. The day this air drop happened was a day of great shame. The dog bites the hand that feeds it, but all the dog hears is “Good puppy!”

The Club affirmed that all detainees from Gaza are exposed to systematic executions and killings in the occupation’s camps, which they have previously warned about since the aggression began after October 7th.

Yemen and Libya remain two major flashpoints that threaten to destroy the still fragile relationship between Riyadh and Tehran. Both sides share the fear of an escalating fire that could burn them too.
