The BRICS – 16th Summit Kazan – Revisited
David Skripac and Peter Koenig
Despite the overall accolades the recent BRICS summit in Kazan received, both from the mainstream and non-mainstream media, not all is gold that shines. A second look reveals – unfortunately – that the BRICS nations follow the same globalist agenda – as does the western world.
And if the BRICS are representative for the Global South, then maybe much of the Global South has also been taken hostage by the globalist agenda.
What does it mean in concrete?
Here are some BRICS declarations made at the Kazan Summit which received little or no coverage by the media.
For example:
- BRICS supports “global governance” and “the central role of the United Nations in the international system,”
- BRICS supports the leading role of the IMF in global finance,
- BRICS supports the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development,
- BRICS supports public-private partnerships to help nations achieve their Sustainable Development Goals (SDG),
- BRICS supports the reduction and removal of greenhouse gases to combat climate change,
- BRICS supports the creation of carbon markets,
- BRICS supports the World Health Organization and its “central coordinating role” in strengthening “the international pandemic prevention, preparedness and response system,”
- BRICS supports the development of “safe & effective vaccines”,
- BRICS supports “digital transformation” using 5G and other “emerging technologies,” and
- Strengthening Multilateralism for Just Global Development and Security vs Building a Just World and a Sustainable Planet.
The BRICS countries are spouting the same nonsense – or much worse than nonsense – as one might find at the G20 and the G7 summits. In some cases, it looks like the declarations were taken directly and verbatim from the last G20 Conference (New Delhi, 9-10 September 2023).
Just watch out, the next G20 Summit is scheduled for 18-19 November 2024, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, hosted by the ultra-globalist Lula Government. The next planned G7 Conference is to take place in June 2025, in Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada.
No doubt, all the BRICS nations firmly support the Pandemic Agreement being formulated at the UN, as well as the UN Pact for the World of the Future. In other words, straight to a One World Government, with the UN as the Government, and WHO as the new worldwide Gestapo.
In addition, any new nation joining the BRICS organization must agree to all the above stated declarations if they wish to join the union.
It is time for “We, the People” to declare our own agreement—free from the meddling intrusions being proposed by the tyrannical organizations and nations that are attempting to destroy our inherent and inalienable rights.
Maybe this is the reason, why President Vladimir Putin gently suggested a new funding and financing platform for the BRICS, for them to escape the tentacles of the IMF and World Bank.
To enhance such a BRICS move – if ever the BRICS nations can see eye-to-eye – perhaps a common Secretariat, and joint Economic Development, Trade, and Defense policies, are of the order.
Along the lines of this independence within the UN Pact, they may also consider a common virtual BRICS currency, along the lines of the IMF’s SDR-principles [SDR = Special Drawing Rights], without of course adhering to IMF rules.
The SDR-principle is simply currency of the weighted average of all the BRICS nations’ currencies. Of course, not including the US-dollar
While the UN Pact is not legally binding, it may be difficult for smaller countries to forego the Pact’s mandates, but less so for larger countries, and / or a block of countries, such as the BRICS.
The new virtual currency could also be used as backing for individual countries’ own national currencies, and especially for trading among each other. It would also be free from interferences from the west, as it would be dollar-free.
Given the outcome of the just completed Kazan Summit and the overall rift within the BRICS nations, this may be a long shot at this time. However, not to be ignored for some time in the not-too-distant future of A New World – not UN-style, but humanity made, developed, and ever strived for.

Just a quick comment on globalism and globalization to answer Nico’s comment. Globalism is today the empire – they want to own the world, not so? That is the enemy. BRICS is the exact opposite by striving for each country to be (and I’ll use AHH’s wonderful term) SOVEREIGN HARMONIOUS… Read more »
BRICS supports the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Let me tell you what China did. Just like Climate Change, plastics has been hijacked as a favored Virtue Signalling issue by Western do-gooders who want to present themselves as “environmentally conscious.” Meanwhile, the West–led by America, the United Kingdom, and Europe–are dumping more dangerous pesticides, which are *banned* in their own countries, on Global South countries… Read more »
A good post with information unknown to me. The virtue signalling needs to end and serious action begin. If BRICS unity will become pragmatically concerned then BRICS has a lot of work to do over many future decades. I am pro-BRICS and see BRICS as a potential saviour for righting… Read more »

I’m curious what you will say to this Amarynth. After all, I also see the danger of building on a foundation that is rotten to the core, and I don’t see BRICS distancing itself from those globalist goals. People around me who are very critical of the West are, I… Read more »
