Nasrallah writes the strategic equation of the Axis of Resistance

Nasrallah writes the strategic equation of the Axis of Resistance

Quantum Bird – November 3, 2023

Patience.

Discretion.

Attrition.

It will be death by a thousand, ten thousand, a hundred thousand cuts.
Pepe Escobar , on his X channel.

Finally Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, gave his long-awaited speech and analysis of the situation in Gaza today. The announcement of the speech at the beginning of last week caused much speculation, expectation and anxiety, especially among Hegemon officials, with their simple minds, educated in war by Hollywood. Apparently, they expected from Hezbollah declaration of open war against Israel. Another graphic demonstration of the myopia affecting those people.

Nasrallah, who has a history of making strategic and symbolic speeches, always focusing on regional developments – especially those relating to Israel and Palestine – proceeded calmly as usual, gradually and patiently explaining the facts on the ground without, at any point, losing the perspective on the strategic consequences of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

As far as the status quo is concerned, all the crucial points have been addressed:

  • The achievements of the Palestinian Resistance, including exposing the absolute fragility of Israel’s military and security apparatus, which has once again proven capable only of destroying civilian infrastructure and indiscriminately murdering civilians;
  • Israel’s inability to guarantee the security of the illegal settlements in the occupied territories;
  • Israel’s chronic inability to defend itself and its absolute dependence on economic and military support provided by the USA and the EU;
  • The loss of any remaining trace of moral and political stature by the West, due to its unconditional support for the genocide and attempted ethnic cleansing in Palestine. Objectives openly declared by the Israeli government, condemned by the entire Global South, but supported by the USA and the EU;
  • The daily situation of extreme human rights violations, intensified in recent years, always with the consent of the USA and the EU.

Some excerpts:

“There will be major political repercussions for Israel after this operation, which revealed the weakness and fragility of the Zionist regime, which is truly weaker than a spider’s web.”

“The Zionists and their allies have not yet been able to seize the initiative, and US support for Israel has revealed the weakness of the Zionist entity.”

“European and Western leaders come from around the world to express their support for Israel, which reveals the Zionist regime’s weakness and need for foreign assistance to survive.”

“There was no other option for Gaza except to wait and die, and that is why they resist.”

“What is happening in Gaza is revealing the stupidity of the Zionist regime, which only kills civilians and destroys mosques, churches, hospitals and schools.”

Nasrallah then proceeded to write the terms of the strategic equation of the Axis of Resistance, making it very clear that Operation Al-Aqsa Flood was an action entirely planned and decided by the resistance in Gaza, led by Hamas, but also supported other factions.

As he explained, the resistance in Gaza did not act as a proxy of Iran, Hezbollah or any other major member of the Resistance Axis. In other words, resistance in Gaza remains an essential and inalienable political part of any solution for Palestine.

He proceeded to remind everyone about the heart of the matter: The US is responsible for what is happening in Gaza and Israel is its tool to occupy and project force in the region.

“The United States is fully responsible for the war in Gaza, and Israel is just a tool; It is the United States that is preventing a ceasefire at the United Nations.”

“The Islamic Resistance in Iraq took the initiative and attacked the bases of the US occupation, because it is the Americans who are managing the war in Gaza and they must pay the price.”

“As Imam Khomeini said, the United States is the Great Satan. And the massacres throughout history committed and facilitated by the United States must be punished and avenged.”

Then, speaking on behalf of the Axis of Resistance, Nasrallah reaffirmed the organization’s unconditional support for the Palestinian cause and explained, citing numbers, how the engagement of Hezbollah (Lebanon), Ansar Allah (Yemen) and the Iraqi Islamic Resistance are inflicting significant casualties and dispersing Israeli and US forces in the region. The Hezbolah’s secretary general made it clear that this engagement, although significant, is far from the maximum pressure they are able to articulate, if necessary, to stop the massacre in Gaza. Nasrallah also made it clear that the Axis of Resistance has sufficient deterrent power and escalation control to multiply the battlefronts to combat and defeat the Hegemon throughout the region. And that’s not to mention Iran’s direct engagement.

“There will be more actions against Israel from several different fronts, and this will become clearer in the coming days as we hear from our allies.”

“The United States threatens us, if we open the northern front, the aircraft carriers will bomb us, these threats will not change our posture, and one group after another will join the war.”

“The escalation depends on two factors:

1. What happens in Gaza and how the situation evolves there.

2. How Zionists act towards Lebanon.”

“If Israel bombs our civilians, we will bomb their civilians; how they act will determine how we act.”

“All options are on the table on the Lebanese front, I repeat, all options are on the table.”

“The United States has sent us messages saying they will bomb Iran if we continue our actions. How dare they threaten our resistance? Their ships in the Mediterranean do not frighten us, and rest assured we are prepared for them.”

“We have made ‘preparations’ for American ships and asked the US to remember its defeats in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.”

“If the US wants to avoid a regional war, the aggression in Gaza must stop.”

Nasrallah’s historically consistent, realistic and educational speech makes clear the impossibility of success of the AngloZionist plan for ethnic cleansing in Gaza, and the consequences that the ongoing genocide will have for Israel, the US and the EU. A ceasefire, followed by immediate withdrawal from Gaza and political engagement in implementing the two-state solution are the best offers the Axis of Resistance can make to Israel. Obviously, there is no chance of the Zionist regime reaping this opportunity. Thus, with the defeat and likely disintegration of Israel assured, what is at stake now is the expulsion of the US from the region. I believe this was Nasrallah’s underlying message. If this prognosis is correct, in the coming days we will see an exponential increase in attacks on US bases across the region.

Hello, The article does not state Nasrallah said or proposed a two state solution. What I wrote there is about the political process which, as Amarynth told it now way beyond the previous status quo. In that sense, the two state solution, which is the more broadly sponsored approach (Russia,… Read more »

I have searched the documents and find no reference to ‘solutions’ or how this thing should at the end of the day be negotiated out. These are pretty important words to lay at Nasrallah’s feet, so I would like to sort this out. Where? Casual Spectator? This is more important… Read more »

Hi, as we know, due to what happened in Dagestan, there was an emergency meeting with members of the Russian Security Council and Government. President Putin condemned this attempted engineered Jewish pogrom very firmly and said in this meeting: “But those who really stand up for truth and justice, who fight against… Read more »

Personally, I don’t know for sure. Americans made sure any military/physical wise involvement will lead to a direct confrontation and MAD escalation. Russia is quite restricted to diplomatic and political measures, I am afraid.

“A ceasefire, followed by immediate withdrawal from Gaza and political engagement in implementing the two-state solution are the best offers the Axis of Resistance can make to Israel.” Sorry, Pepe, I don’t know where this notion came from, but Nasrallah made it abundantly clear in his speech that a two… Read more »
