An early Russian Reaction after drone attack on the Kremlin
This is from Elana Panini from Russtrat.ru. From what I can see in the various Russian media and channels, it is a fair representation of the Russian voice without unnecessary hysteria.
The Background
Last night two unmanned aerial vehicles targeted the Kremlin. Timely action by the military and special services involving radar systems enabled them to disable the devices. They crashed in the Kremlin grounds, scattering fragments without causing any casualties or damage.
The Kremlin Press service stated: We consider these actions a premeditated terrorist attack and an assassination attempt targeting the President, carried out ahead of Victory Day and the May 9 Parade, where foreign guests are expected to be present, among others. The President has not suffered in this terrorist attack. His working schedule remains unchanged and follows its ordinary course.
Russia reserves the right to take countermeasures wherever and whenever it deems appropriate.
Now we have to ask: Provocation, or a real attempt on Putin’s life? The empire is trying to reduce Putin’s ability to move and act with the criminal case of the ICC and the obviously made-up request for his arrest. Can you imagine his security now? This may be a massive provocation specifically to get Russia to react. It is noticeable that Zelenski was in Finland for a one day visit on this day, and immediately reported that he will stay there for a few days.
The Moscow Mayor immediately banned drones in Moscow. The State Duma is calling for blood: “We will demand the use of weapons that can stop and destroy the Kiev terrorist regime – Volodin.”
Elana Panina says:
It’s time for Russia to “jump over the red flags”
The demonstrative UAV attack on the Kremlin, which caused euphoria among supporters of the Ukrainian junta, who are greedy for PR effects, also forced some of our colleagues to start combing their wounds and pour salt on them. That is, to do exactly what is expected of them in Kyiv.
It is not worth playing along with Kyiv. Let’s look at the situation from this angle – as an element of the battle for the initiative and another attempt by the enemy to impose his will on us.
▪️ The essence of this attempt is not only to play on the media and propaganda effect, which in reality is worth little, but the main thing is to limit our strategic freedom of choice. Including, for example, when assessing the situation in connection with the upcoming events on Victory Day and the parade on Red Square.
It should be noted, by the way, that the purpose of the night strike, judging by the video footage, was not the Kremlin itself and not even the dome of the Senate Palace, but the flagpole on the dome with a duplicate of the standard of the President of the Russian Federation. The game of symbolism is already purely British stuff. A kind of “reminder” from London on the eve of the coronation of Charles III that the conflict in Ukraine is still developing according to the Anglo-Saxon scenario and within the framework set by them.
▪️ That is why our correct response should be not just a reactive, too predictable “response”, but a set of measures that will take Russia beyond these “frames” and allow it to seize the strategic initiative in the war.
It should be a “jump for the flags” – flags of the same red color as those of the “red lines” beloved by many. The benefit of such steps, which over the past year with a little in store Russia, tying her own hands, is more than enough.
▪️ One of such decisions could be the transfer of the NVO regime to the regime of a real war – with all the accompanying legal and legal support.
Another is the declaration of Ukraine as a terrorist state , which will also entail a whole bunch of consequences. Including getting out of all formal and informal agreements with Kiev – from all “deals”, “flows” and “rules of the game”, where you can hit and where you can’t.
The third decision – and it is already being directly called for, for example, within the walls of the State Duma – is the transition to the use of “weapons that are capable of stopping and destroying the Kiev terrorist regime.” And no, this is clearly not limited to simple missile attacks on a thermal power plant on the outskirts of Kyiv. Officially give residents of the center of the Ukrainian capital a day to evacuate through all available channels, after which, for a start, raze the government buildings of the junta to the ground.
▪️ Other “private” initiatives are also possible. One of them is the neutralization of Zelensky’s figure , and not necessarily somewhere in his bunker. The President of Ukraine is now on a tour of Europe, relatively close to our territory. Why can you get Eichmann from sovereign Argentina, but not another Nazi on the territory of another state?
By the way, “another state” is not necessarily Finland. Since the de facto Ukrainian army is commanded by the United States, they also may well become the target of special measures. There is no need to be afraid of the Third World War: for their implementation it is enough, for example, to give funds of the required scale to people in Mexico or the Middle East.
Judging by some signs, including reports that Zelensky will “stay in Finland longer than planned,” Kiev has begun to realize the consequences of its rash step. And judging by the statements of a number of top officials of the Russian Federation, these consequences will be really serious.
According to this very early assessment, we will see some action.

It gets worse and worse, doesn’t it. Seem to me the Zelensky et al need a good B-slap!
This was not only expected but guaranteed. Why several months ago they moved Pantsirs and anti-drone machines onto Moscow’s roofs.. sabotage and terrorism is default next move. The surprise is it took this long. It shouldn’t affect Putin at all. The target is elites around him, to make them insecure… Read more »
State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin made three additional declarations: Ukraine is now a terrorist state Western nations pumping Ukraine with weapons are “direct accomplices” to terrorism there “can be no negotiations with the Zelensky regime” So one objective, derailment of Chinese peace initiative, was achieved.
