Empire: the strategy, the tactics
What we know while watching empire even while it burns, is that it is holding on like nits on a child’s hair to its single polar hegemony. It is doing that with various tactics and a list of these could be outright war, regime change operations, destabilization operations, threats to others and their own allies, propaganda operations, open terrorism, CIA type operations, financial and economic pressure, false accusations on human rights, political show trials, attempts to simply appoint presidents for other countries, geopolitical intrigues in order to undermine the influence and power of the country and open, visible blackmail. The West will eventually become mired in its own contradictions and squabbles due to the lack of results and internal pressure from the disgruntled population and development of proxies.
They opened their own Pandora’s Pithoi (image above, Pandora’s box is not a box) and are raining curses upon mankind. Of course, they consider themselves an advanced version of mankind and the concept that these curses will curse them as well, does not enter their mental constructs. All across the world they are laying the groundwork for future conflicts. Be aware that the providers of weapons to Ukraine are not unhappy that those weapons are being sold off to militant groupings everywhere. That is the idea folks – militarize everywhere.
All of this is really the US Empire trying to prevent its inevitable decline. Ben Norton says a few hours ago: “The US and its allies are expanding their New Cold War in order to undermine multipolarity and to prevent the rise of socialism around the world.”
The issue is that the attempts from empire toward full ownership of the world are increasing and intensifying, right across the world.
Punish! Punish, the empire hollers and shouts!. Everyone that does not obey us, punish. We’ll keep punching you in the face until you get the message! This brutal stupidity is what the world is reacting to now, but we need a greater pushback.
Here they start with Saudi Arabia: “US Legislators Push For Investigation Into Saudi Arabia’s Human Rights Record. Just a while ago, this was used as a tactic for Nicaragua as well.” If the US can disable Nordstream to maintain their sole plunder rights on Germany, what could they do to put a stick in the spokes of the Saudi Arabia / Iran rapprochement? (Saudi Arabia is an easy mark for accusations of Human Rights violations but the US has a worse record).
Mr. Lavrov opened this up by saying that the west is setting Asia up for years of conflict and that pushing blocs like AUKUS and NATO into the region will cause confrontation. The west’s expansion of its military presence in Asia risks causing a prolonged conflict because people in the region will not accept the move, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.
By pushing “bloc structures, such as AUKUS and NATO infrastructure into Asia,” Western leaders are making “a serious bid for a confrontation lasting for many, long years,” he told a gathering in Moscow on Tuesday.
“I cannot imagine the great Asian civilizations toeing the line the way the EU unfortunately did, and obediently delivering Washington’s agenda,” Lavrov explained.
Despite Mr Lavrov’s warning, the area is already being destabilized.
AUKUS – a military alliance comprising the UK, US and Australia – was touted as a mechanism to counter China’s influence in the Asia-Pacific region when it was founded in 2021.
China reacts to Australia’s nuclear plans: Beijing this week reiterated its criticism of AUKUS and Canberra’s plan to procure US-made nuclear-propelled submarines, citing the risk of nuclear proliferation posed by the technology used in the boats.
Earlier this month, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi accused the US of trying to build an “Indo-Pacific NATO” and stir tensions between Beijing and New Delhi. US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin previously denied having such plans. Last year, the US-led military bloc invited the leaders of Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand to attend its key summit in Madrid, Spain.
Tensions between the US and China have been rising for years, with Taiwan, a self-administered island, becoming the focus of conflict. Senior US officials have been making regular visits to Taipei against Beijing’s wishes. The administration of President Joe Biden approved sales of advanced weapons to thew island, claiming it needed to protect itself from a possible Chinese attack.
Chinese President Xi Jinping asserted last week that Washington was trying to impose “all-round containment, encirclement and suppression” of his nation.
China may see the AUKUS trilateral security partnership nuclear-powered submarine as an encirclement and will need to defend itself.
The United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia have “gone further down a wrong and dangerous road” with their nuclear submarines agreement, a spokesperson for the Chinese foreign ministry said Tuesday. The agreement “completely ignored the concerns of the international community,” Wang Wenbin said at a press briefing, according to CNN. The deal will “stimulate an arms race, undermine the international nuclear non-proliferation system and damage regional peace and stability,” he added.
The US is QUADRUPLING its troop presence in Taiwan as part of ongoing war preparations toward China.
There is a rush to war in Australia with headline announcements that China will attack within the next three years. One needs only to read the Australian MSM to find that front and center. And there are few people talking against it. The one is a previous prime minister, Paul Keeting. As is usual, he is now being attacked. He states that the Chinese leadership would “fall over themselves to have a proper relationship” with Australia, but Australia has “manufactured a problem” by basing its foreign policy on the needs and strategies of the United States. ASEAN is seething. Malaysia and Singapore have spoken out, but there is not much to say. All they can say is that these AUKUS moves must honor local agreements and UN Law. Take a look. Surely it is easy to see why the rest of the ASEAN countries are seething.
The concluding paragraph here is that much damage and destabilization are already in progress. President Assad in his current visit to Russia and in an interview with Sputnik stated that modern conflicts between rival powers are waged as proxy wars, citing Kiev’s “army of Nazis” and Western-backed jihadists in Syria. The Syrian leader believes only a coalition of countries led by Russia and China can topple the US hegemony.
Further destabilization in the large area is being carried out actively.
Let us take a quick look at Central and South America and the Caribbean. Evo Morales made a statement where he clearly set it out.
“We denounce that the US is preparing, through US Southern Command, the execution of an intervention plan in Bolivia and sister countries in the region with the excuse of guaranteeing democracy and security. Their real interest is to submit us politically to steal our natural resources.
In her presentation before the Armed Services Committee of the House of Representatives, the head of the Southern Command, Laura J. Richardson, assured that her country has the most powerful military force in the world and warned that the security of South America affects the security of the United States. In addition to reiterating her obsession with the exploitation of natural resources in Latin America, especially lithium from Bolivia, Chile and Argentina, she admitted having personally visited 13 countries and having held meetings with 90 defense ministers and authorities in the region. Richarson spoke of building trust with countries in the region but repeated attacks against Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua with lies and political accusations.
She denounced alleged ‘malign activity’ by China and Russia, but forgot about White House-sponsored coups. The head of the Southern Command announced that a ‘decisive decade’ begins for the US to assume control of the security of the Southern Hemisphere with the so-called Southern Collaboration Strategy together with the United Kingdom, whose ambassador encouraged the coup in Bolivia, France, Canada and Netherlands. Richardson denounced that supposed “autocrats” rule in Latin America, but attacked the freedom of expression of media such as RT en Español and Sputnik, which disseminate information with a different perspective from the hegemony that the US wants to impose with its pro-imperialist media. This plan will fail again because the free peoples of Latin America will never again submit to the whims of armaments imperialism that destroys world peace with interventions, assassinations, economic blockades and coups d’état.” – Evo Morales
Accusations of Human Rights Abuse are a favorite tactic of the empirical forces. A bipartisan group in the US Senate introduced a resolution requiring the federal government to produce a report on human rights practices by any particular country. Authored by Democrat Chris Murphy and Republican Mike Lee, the legislation is set to have the Biden administration prepare a report on Saudi Arabia, with the likely result of Washington reassessing its relationship with its major Middle-Eastern ally. According to Reuters, Congressional aides say it is too soon to estimate the resolution’s fate in the voting chamber. Still, they hope it would start a broader conversation on global human rights.
Russia had the border problems with Azerbaijan and Armenia under control, with a lasting cease-fire not always successful but enough to create conditions for long-term agreement. The US (this is NATO) simply muscled in on the Russian process and destabilized it. I’ve not seen any Iranian statements here.
Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces met with the delegation of the US European Command. On March 14, First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Kerim Veliyev met with a delegation of the US European Command led by Deputy Director for Partnerships, Security and Political Opportunities Brigadier General Edward Vaughan. The sides had a thorough exchange of views on the prospects for military cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States and on issues of regional security.
It looks like an active “Western landing” is organized in the countries of the former USSR.
The carnage is not contained to their foreign affairs. It is right in the midst of their own countries.
NATO is preparing for urban combat AGAINST EUROPEAN CITIZENS all across NATOstan.
That’s the “message” of the current Orion 2023 exercises, with 12,000 troops, unfolding in the streets of French CITIES.

This process of empire seems to be coalescing into something that we can almost put our arms around. We’ve heard of full-spectrum dominance. I think we are watching full-spectrum destabilization because this empire will kill itself, before it lets go of its crazy messianic notion that it has to own it all. It will try and stick like a nit on hair!
Of course the majority is hitting back. Coinciding with Biden’s Summit for Democracy:
Riyadh will not sell oil to countries that have decided to limit prices for Saudi supplies.
“If the export of Saudi oil falls under restrictions, we will not sell oil to any country that will impose a price ceiling on our supplies, and we will reduce oil production. I will not be surprised if other [states] do the same,” said the Minister of Energy Saudi Arabia’s Abdel Aziz bin Salman Al Saud in an interview with Energy Intelligence, commenting on the NOPEC (No Oil Producing and Exporting Cartels Act) anti-cartel bill, which suggests that the US government will be able to bring antitrust lawsuits against OPEC members and their partners.
It is hard to judge how much energy the west still has to create chaos and destabilization. It is impossible to say if we are at a pinnacle. What is possible to say, is that some of our world leaders will have to grow a full-spectrum pair and resist full-spectrum destabilization, despite “punishment”.

Great article, Amarynth! I’m guessing that you are not an expert on China’s military capabilities, but maybe I’m wrong, so I’ll just go ahead and ask. Does the Chinese navy have the wherewithal to blockade Taiwan so that nothing can get into or out of Taiwan by sea? Does the… Read more »
