Daily Chronicles

The Daily Chronicles are snippets of the most important news across the world for this and each day as it rolls in – as such, this thread is non-structured with the latest news on top. The rough theme for this Daily Chronicles: War of Words.

The War of Words after the G20 is continuing, China is right in there with choice invective, Lavrov is speaking truth to everyone and I’ll post some of his speeches.  India is in there as well, more subdued but they are not quiet.

Tuesday, March 7

Qin Gang on the difference between Chinese and Western modernization.

Tuesday, March 7

Vanessa Beeley reports: “Last night, the apartheid colonial entity of Isr#ae#l attacked Aleppo International Airport where the earthquake devastated city receives most of its relief aid. All relief shipments are halted until the airport is operational again..! How low can Israel get..?!” Fares Shehabi in Aleppo

Xi Jinping goes Mao Zedong, naming USA 1st time ever

New Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang also going full Mao Zedong, sensing weakness and desperation

Tuesday, March 7

Artemovsk (Bakhmut) looks like a new version of a killing fields.  I watched some of the video this morning and it is carnage.  The US is desperate for a solution – but Russia will not talk to them.  The EU and hangers-on have nothing left but words – but Russia will not talk to them.   The most viable framework for peace talks is still the Chinese version but it has shortcomings.  Russia is now busy changing NATO materially and showing up its shortcomings – they have nothing.  As Scott Ritter says, NATO soldiers cannot get out of the barracks.

On the China side, this is to my knowledge the first time that Xi Jinping openly criticized Washington, in a public speech, no less.

https://www.rt.com/news/572575-xi-us-china-containment/

China likes to talk in hard trade numbers.

China trade Jan-Feb:

ASEAN: 952bn yuan, up 9.6%

EU: 851bn yuan, down 2.6%

US: 703bn yuan, down 10.6%

BRI countries: 2.12tn yuan, up 10.1%

Three tweets from Pepe Escobar, while he is inside the belly of the informational world engine.

We have passed the tipping point not long ago. The Chinese leadership is now preparing to face the US as an ENEMY. They are actively comparing notes with close partners – especially Russia and Iran. China could have simply lived with the US as a trade rival. Instead…

The Chechens say they are mostly facing Polish troops. At least 30k Collective West troops in the battlefield. US runs the war. Officers are operating as mercenaries. 2/3 of the weapons end up in Kosovo and across West Asia. No Congressional scrutiny. All handled by CIA.

Jeffrey Sachs, one of the plunderers of Russia in the 90s, now declaring Urbi & Orbi he just wants to help, is quite a show. He’s the mouthpiece of the reasonable faction of Western plutocracy. The Chinese value him as an effective diplomatic channel.

Monday, March 6

A wickedly funny skit from Russia.  Putin sends a beloved Russian cartoon character to the US to ‘save America’.

Monday, March 6

Screaming hypocrisy!

FWIW,

Washington’s envoy in Ankara has been called in to explain Mark Milley’s arrival in Syria.  Damascus has also called it a flagrant violation of the country’s sovereignty.

Monday, March 6

Another attempted ‘Daria Dugina’ type assassination in Russia.

Security Services Prevent Assassination Attempt Against Head of Russian Orthodox TV Channel

Video shows the moment an apparent car bomb was attached to Konstantin Malofeev’s vehicle, who is the chief of media group Tsargrad.

A secondary video now released by the FSB shows the operation to remove the suspicious package with the help of a robot sapper.

Saturday, March 4

There are conflicting reports coming from Artemovsk (Bakhmut) – Ukrainian forces are withdrawing or Ukrainian forces have been strengthened.  We will have to wait until this battle is over before we know what took place.  What is clear though, is that the Ukies are burning bridges, which is a tactic to slow down the opponents’ advance.   Russian forces are inexorably advancing their encirclement, in a very bloody battle, with one road open but under fire control for Ukie forces that want to run.  And there are many that are running.  No, they are not ‘retreating’, they are running.

What is also clear, is that Ukraine is running out of ammo and weapons systems and the EU/UK/US/NATO support is dwindling because they are running out of ammo and weapons, specifically the EU bloc frazzling and fraying without unity – while slowly de-industrializing for lack of cheap and plentiful oil and fuel.  Slowly Russia is ‘de-weaponizing’ NATO.

Of course, this is the record so somebody has already lost.  What is not counted here in so many words, is that Russia destroyed the Ukrainian airforce, all naval forces as well as probably most fighting soldiers.

German Newspaper “Stern” -The Big Brother is back – Vassal energy

Saturday, March 4

Today in China: The 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) met in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing to open the country’s annual Two Sessions gathering. The CPPCC is the Chinese government’s top advisory body consisting of eight political parties and scores of political organizations outside of CPC membership. Highlighted at the meeting were China’s progress in strengthening China-Africa relations and cross-Strait ties, as well as the need to increase the role of the private economy in spurring recovery under the supervision of the Chinese people.

At last some reality. Could not believe what just came up on Oz national broadcaster.

“The Ukraine war is being defined as a battle for the global rules based order. But the West, particularly the US, has made the rules and broken
them.”

Its a 98-year-old cartoon, depicting the fear of the US and Europe, at the prospect of China, India, and Africa uniting together.

A Napoleone reference? Nice, and not subtle either. The EU have quite a bad situation on the horizon for Macron to have to endure. Loss of their import/export market with Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine. Appears to me like a western ‘grovel and conquer’ strategy used against the native-North Americans. 1.… Read more »

How low? Much lower. Evil always operates at the lowest, most base levels of foul play. Inhumanity is the way of the Israeli government. It has no shame. It has no soul. Their places in Hell are already marked.
