G20: collapse or change?
The meeting of the G20 foreign ministers is taking place in the Indian capital, New Delhi, on March 1-2, with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, among other officials, attending the event.
The previous meet, which was supposed to be a preparation for this one, was attended by the finance ministers and India in a sense could not keep the G7 bloc from destabilizing the meeting. At the end, there was no joint communique. India prepared a statement as the chair.
The most major statement up to now, is agreement that the African Union will have a seat. Fair is fair, and if the EU can have a seat, so can the African Union.
I so clearly remember Maria Zakarova at the previous foreign ministers meeting, stating that the G20 broke the western influence but things have changed. We notice a hard refusal from the western bloc to change to any kind of multipolarity. If they cannot be the boss, they follow a 3 step destabilization methodology at all and any world structures. 1) Seeding and creating Chaos, 2) Charm Offensive, and 3) Open and exceedingly rude hostility.
Let us look at some examples of the three step destabilization methodology. We could see Seeding and Creating Chaos in the previous G20 meeting. Here is the Charm Offensive whilst openly interfering in Nigeria’s election:
Welcome to the multipolar world:
Washington still lives on the assumption that it can dictate what others should vote for.
In the meantime, it appears that the Nigerians did not listen to their bullshit.

And here is the open and exceedingly rude hostility. (China announced in good language that they might just decide not to invite this one anywhere again).
Nicholas Burns, the US ambassador to China, declares that China must now understand that "the United States is staying in this region, we're the leader in this region… We don't want conflict, but we're going to hold our own out here."
In other words: Follow the Leader. pic.twitter.com/ipG5PAe4AC

In this destabilized environment the chances for a productive G20 are very limited.
Mr Lavrov made a lovely speech at the Tolstoy-Gandhi exhibition in New Delhi.
The first session of the G20 started behind closed doors. Russia announced that they want to discuss the impunity around the investigation of the Nord Stream Sabotage as well as the basically sunk grain deal, where the grain meant to Africa and poor countries, actually went to feed animals in Europe. He mentioned that Russia’s fertilizer ships, again meant for Africa and poor countries, are still stuck in European ports.
Here is Mr Lavrov’s first presser and he is commanding respect and will no doubt be the star of the show, without depriving India of their importance in this meeting.
Just out, G20 Foreign Ministers adopted a Declaration without taking a position on Ukraine because Russia and China would not have it otherwise.
“The G20 foreign ministers adopted a final declaration without a position on Ukraine due to Russia and China’s objections, the document revealed.
The top diplomats highlighted the importance of full, timely and ongoing implementation of the UN-mediated grain deal by all parties to the agreement.
The ministers also reaffirmed that the use or the threat of using nuclear weapons is unacceptable, and expressed concern over the illegal weapons trafficking, as they stressed the importance of cooperation to combat it.
Likewise, in the joint declaration, the ministers condemned terror attacks against critical energy infrastructure.
I’ll update all important further work here. India’s opening statement showed clearly their stance, and I must say, we don’t have to worry about India at this stage of the game. This G20 is a political war that the global south must win.
Cross-cultural exchanges are vital to build resilient multipolarity. Book fairs are especially endearing and valuable as seen above between Indians and Russians. At the linked Minister Lavrov’s remarks at the opening ceremony of the Tolstoy-Gandhi exhibition, he noted, “ The equality of peoples and the rejection of colonialism and all other forms of… Read more »
From Lavrov’s speech: “I would like to apologize to India for INDECENT behavior of Western delegations, which turned work into a farce.” And here is Blinken under the charm offensive: “I went to G20 Foreign Ministers’ meeting with 2 imperatives: to ensure G20 advances common goals and to demonstrate how… Read more »
In terms of a Declaration being adopted, I now get different stories. So, wait for confirmation on that …
OK, there is a chair declaration, but not everyone agreed. In other words, a destabilized mess.
