Daily Chronicles

The Daily Chronicles are snippets of the most important news across the world for this and each day as it rolls in – as such, this thread is non-structured with the latest news on top. The rough theme for this Daily Chronicles: A temporary win for empire

Monday, February 27

I’m really glad to see Brian Berletic hitting the big times.  https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202302/1285750.shtml

Monday, February 27

We’re moving from a temporary win, to thick clouds of misinformation from the western side.  Blinken is painting himself and the west as white as snow and doing oh so much good for the world.  It is nauseating.  Nigeria has an election, and their paws are all over it.  There are deep indicators though, that they are beginning to realize not everyone is paying attention.  There is a ennui and tiredness developing with this cloud of misinformation.  Countries and their delegates to various high level meetings have had it and do not want Ukraine being pushed in their faces any longer.  So, the US and the west are on alternatively a charm or a pity offensive.   I will spend the day digging us out from underneath those misinformation clouds and change over this ‘daily chronicles’ tomorrow.  We are also in a rich environment for false flag operations and a few of those are operational already.

A short read from Vanessa Beeley:  https://beeley.substack.com/p/the-white-helmet-resurrection-and

Blinkin has a sweet tweet, (oh he is such a nice and caring person /sarc), that he is telling the UN that the US must remain in Syria, in order to help with earthquake relief.

One more note:  We are receiving quite a bunch of new registrations to the site.  Some I stop at the gates.  For others, we are not the Saker site and are not in the process of remaking that.  We have a different ethos and a different task.  But please introduce yourselves either on this thread or in the Salon,  and you will find that if you are a friend, you are among friends.

On war, Bakhmut / Artemovsk is surrounded and in a cauldron.  There are different estimates as to how many Ukie soldiers are in there – I’ve seen from +- 2,500 to orders of magnitude more.  They had time to withdraw, so, I pity them, as they are dead meatbags walking.  I saw in another report that the Ukie soldier estimate of hours of life on the front is only 4 hours.  I have a deep pity for these people, but I do not feel sorry.  Russia will, either by peaceful means, or by warlike means, get NATO away from her borders and Ukraine will be demilitarized.  As far as the big western whitewash toward peace, take a look at Nebenzya.

Monday, February 27

Nebenzya: Under any expressions with the word “peace”, which are used even today by high-ranking representatives of Ukraine and Western countries, in fact, they mean something completely different, namely the capitulation of Russia, inflicting a strategic defeat on it, ideally with subsequent disintegration and reshaping territories included in it. These true aims of Western interference in Ukrainian affairs were not hidden from the very beginning.

The collective West must accept the fact that there are other players on our planet who have their own interests, and we must coexist with them. The unipolar world is a thing of the past, and it is in our common interest that the transition to a multipolar world occur with the least disruption. I would like to believe that the hot phase of this transition will be limited to the Ukrainian crisis.

The choice is up to our former Western partners, primarily Washington. It is clear that after all that we have learned about you this year, after the boundless and disgusting Russophobia, after the attempts to cancel Russia, after the weapons supplied to the Zelensky regime, which killed women, children and the elderly in the Donbass, after your Ukrainian adventure with an attempt to create us problems on our borders, our relationship will never be the same. We no longer trust your words, and regaining our trust will not be easy, if not impossible.

I am truly not a Tucker Carlson fan.  And the politics run deep in this piece.  But I thought it worthwhile because he is getting it .. the world is changing .. the world order is changing .. and the US is not going to come out in the top of the deck.

Saturday, February 25

There were 10 biblical plagues in old Egypt.  This empirical force that we have to deal with is worse than all 10 of them.  So, the G20 is meeting in India and India has the chair for this year.  India warned everyone .. this will not be a Ukraine meeting as the world has work to do.  We don’t want to play Zelenski movies we want to get on with our work and India strongly set the framework for the meeting.  This warning to no avail .. they are still trying to hijack the meeting for a statement of condemnation of Russia.  RT India states:   G20 Finds No Common Language For Ukraine Conflict

Saturday, February 25

Wonderful!  Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya:  Russia is ready for talks on the peaceful implementation of the goal of its special military operation in Ukraine, no other options are acceptable.

We can do it peacefully or we can do it via a SMO or war, but we will meet our goals.

Saturday, February 25

So far, nothing very serious in the world but the war of words continue unabated.  The river of sanctions has been opened once again against both Russia and China.  There are so many that I cannot keep track, but the UK, the US, Canada and the EU again slammed impossible sanctions.  I think of Michael Hudson, who says A debt that cannot be paid, will not be paid.  The sanctions regime is now so crazy and top heavy that it is going to further fall on top of its own creators.  And a sanction that cannot be obeyed, will not be obeyed.  We have to make progress with a new financial system, sanctions proof.

Anti-Russia and Anti-China rhetoric is off the charts in the western media.

China’s Foreign Ministry – US Should Relinquish Its Hold On Hegemony

“The US is not used to hearing the truth, it’s reluctant to face its own problems and merely dismisses all criticism as propaganda,” said Chinese FM spokesperson Wang Wenbin on Thursday.

“What the US should do is relinquish its hold on hegemony and seek peaceful coexistence with other countries on the basis of respect.”

Friday, February 24

Yesterday at the UN, the vote came in of countries wanting Russia to withdraw from Ukraine.    Here is the vote: 144 in favor, 7 against and 32 abstentions.  This has no legal ramifications and is a vote of position and belief and also emotions only, i.e., tokenism. This is good and bad.  In my view without taking into account all that is going to pour into our consciousness today, it expressed that the world is tired of war more than anything else.  I followed Mr Nebenzia’s comments during the run-up to this vote and it was the usual arm-twisting and threats and playing with the organizational aspects and breaking the rules.  The objective of this vote is to try and lift Russia out of the Security Council.

In addition, China released her peace plan.  A reminder, the Minsk Package of Measures were the simplest and most non-complicated document ever.  It basically stated 1) cease fire, 2) withdraw heavy weaponry from the contact line, 3) talks.  And then a few more measures such as security for the then 2 Donbass republics.  China’s peace plan is a dog that won’t hunt, although stated in a neutral manner, is legally sound and is sensical.  It will not go anywhere, for the simple reason that empire wants war.  Note that China is not called for Russia to withdraw before negotiations. This is a very nuanced document. I am waiting for a few other pieces of information, because this peace plan is not all that China said.  More information in a post a little later.

What I don’t understand is why the UN resolution doesn’t emphasize on a CEASEFIRE if it honestly wants to end the conflict. The sociopathic Western governments have no interest in ending this war against Russia, they only care about “winning”.

Consult Dane Wiggington’s https://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/ about how Microwave transmission facilities are being used to trigger earthquakes – https://youtu.be/QBt9rqXkcXo According to the Damascus Institute of Seismology, the blue flash that was seen in Turkey and northern Syria just before the earthquake does not match any previous sightings.
