Western narrative change: Ukraine
Only a truly tonedeaf person today will not recognize that Ukraine is indeed being denazified and demilitarized and will probably lose its statehood as well as its infrastructure as a country.
Hence the Western narrative change. It is no longer that Ukraine must win on the battlefield, it is that they will support Ukraine “For as Long as it Takes“. That is the simple narrative change to cover themselves.
In the meantime, European country after country says that they have no more weapons to give, and that they have no war planes to give. Ukraine has no more navy and it has no more airforce. In the meantime the EU is showing many cracks of disagreement between members. It is an impossibility in this day and age of integrated cross-platform warfare, that Ukraine can win anything against a modern and equipped military force. Russia is continuing with its process of cleaning up Ukraine, and we do not know where they will end. I would guess, “For As Long as it Takes” to unfang NATO and re-establish Russian security with the principle of indivisible security.
Take a look at this narrative change: (And I told you they are dreaming).
Ursula von der Leyen:
Ukraine is a nation defined not only by its history and heritage. This is a nation defined by its dreams, and Europe is one of those dreams. So, dear members, let’s honor these dreams by defending Ukraine for as long as it takes. So that one day representatives of the Ukrainian people will take their place in this very semi-cycle. Long live Europe. glory to Ukraine!
Medvedev responded:
Where did they all come from?
It is bad enough that the head of the European Commission does not understand economics at all and is used to looking at purely medical objects. Otherwise, how else to explain that the highest-ranking EU gynaecologist calculates with undisguised joy Russia’s losses from the new wave of sanctions, but does not count her companies’ losses. Alas, the rule of mercy, cura te ipsum! (Physician, heal thyself). Stupidity and incompetence have no cure…
And the second man, who is exhausted by the narcosis, nicknamed Borrell (aka Commissioner for Foreign Affairs) demands to search diligently in the warehouses in Europe for tanks for the Ukrainian regime. That’s right, that’s the only way a true diplomat should act! It is the chief diplomat of the EU and no one else who should be saying that Russia is the eternal enemy of Europe and calling for war until the victorious end (the end of Ukraine, clearly)! Bravo, Talleyrand applauds from above!
I have nothing to add to Medvedev
I just love it, may God bless the work of those who fight to remove that enemy who desires to destroy all that is good, decent and wholesome.
Methinks the Nazi infestation will be dealt with right back to the borders of Transnistria, Moldova, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland. Ukraine was given eight long years to get its shite together and all that time they only escalated an impossible situation for Russia. Any cleanup short of these western… Read more »
The issue with EU and NATO and the vast majority of Europeans is they have embraced the number one tenet of Nazism: destroy Russia and liquidate all Russians. Thinking all these hundreds of millions of Europeans will get cured, even after a Russian victory, is ridiculous. They are deranged people… Read more »
“Cult of Liberalism, a major feature of which is Nazism.” Thanks Larch, I’ve been trying to tell people this for quite a while. I had an article published about 15 years ago in which I traced the history and philosophy of liberalism, and concluded that authoritarianism is the natural end-game… Read more »
Larch, we should add, for those hypnotized by the word “liberal”, that when you nurture a society and culture based on the nonsense of individualism, that you’ve set the stage for the Law of Unintended Consequences to step in and take over. As liberalism (the political wing of individualism) is… Read more »
I second that Stevo! Uncle Larch should give us an article with his lovely insights. He has been reticent for way too long, content to fire off pithy commentary. One of my first ever Saker comments was in response to one of his articles. We could use his valuable retrospective on the ongoing Collapse(s) within the… Read more »
AHH, thanks for the vote of confidence, but Col would be in a better position for what you suggested – his research skills are impressive ! But I might have an old article or two that I could brush up; will look into it. As you say, something from Larch… Read more »
Another thing I must add in regard to Larch bringing up the folly of liberalism, (yes, Larch has really got me going now !) is that the nurturing of individualism is a nurturing of narcissism.
This fact alone explains much of the disintegration of the West.
Perhaps a more proper term than narcissism, and also the essence of which it expresses, is satanism. Much of modern western psychiatry is zionist deception.. This path of individualism proceeds until The Satan convinces many to turn inwards, avoiding responsibility to their kin, community and even God, and so “to… Read more »
“All have the divine spark,…” Exactly, and I believe that Marcus Aurelius was referring to that with his “inner source of strength.” I’ve long had an affinity for Eastern philosophy, for despite a multitude of schools of thought, they have one thing in common – the primacy of that inner… Read more »
