Generally people are trying to get to terms with The Hearty Salon.  It is a forum style, and not a flat page that needs to be taken away every now and again, because it gets too full.  I’ve changed one of the topics there to Testing and Messing and will leave that one up until people have tried and tested and messed.  Then, I’ll make it go away and hopefully AHH will feel competent to put up a regular weekly forum.  Take note of the meaning of a topic.  You may start a topic.  I’ve just started one, called The Cornucopia – Art, Music, Poems . Creative Stories, Myth and further glories.  There also is an evil Saturday quizz under AHH’s welcome topic.

Don’t be scared of it – play around in the playspace until you feel comfortable.  I don’t think you can break it lol.   So, the structure is that we have the Daily Chronicles, which are the very important events in our world seen through my lens, and frequently I put something there that I want to write about but don’t have the time right at that moment.  Whereas this is mostly my space, The Hearty Salon is mostly your space.  If you want to try writing something there, and it is of a formal style, we can bring it into the more formal articles and postings on the site.  You can even ask the cohorts for help and editing.

Principles and ethos:  We have our other fraternal sites, for example, Smoothie, Moon of Alabama, the Greanville Post and so many others, and they all do their part of our task in this world.  They are all branded to one person or one major philosophy.  Here, I want to, in a sense, break this branding (even though I was advised not to do it and brand to my style and I appreciate the advice as it is solid!).  I envision here a true multipolarity in practice and activity, more on the basis of the many, than on the basis of one-person branding.  Within that, I don’t mind beating the drum, and somebody must make the technology and take decisions of course.

Besides all of that, I’ve decided on a new website name, and will simply call it GlobalSouth dot something cheap.  Sometime in the future here, the site name will morph, transparent to all and it will just happen.

I am personally very invested in a world that has much more respect for all, that is fair in terms of international law, and that is honest.  My wish for the immediate future is that the trajectory to a multipolar structure (which Lavrov and Co consider a given already, and the de facto new reality), allows further transition without a major war or the incessant smaller wars to simply flatten others and leave them in a state where they can be only be looted while human blood drips of off the tongues of the looters.  In my view, we stand either on the brink of a disaster that can end us all and earth or on the brink of a new reality that is pleasing and allows for human creativity to grow.  And what about those earthquakes?  Not going into rabbit holes but the timing of these was just too politically incidental to be meaningless.

We see tremendous growth already in sectors, we are truly developing into a space-faring species, but like everything, the yin and yang, we find ourselves trying not to catch falling knives or we have to take a position in a new world on various ethical fronts.  The issues of gene altering, for example, could be a wonderful boon for human health, or it can lead to dystopia and dystopian creatures.  Who creates life?  The issues of Artificial Intelligence now are both a human triumph and a human tragedy.  What about this cultural and social movement to the androgynous human?

This is technology today and there is no way to escape it.

Finally, we are using here quite innovative new software and systems.  I am not trying to shield anyone from technological advances in software by building some old-style stuff that is designed for Noah’s ark.  Ya just gotta learn it! as we all together need to learn this AI tech, the why of the earthquakes if we can, figure out what this new genetic medicine really is, and this all while we, in our various countries are either going through crashes or booms and the Roger Waters’ ‘voiceless’ is under tremendous social and financial pressure.  Navigate!  Build!  so that you and I don’t go bust.  Find your voice yet again for the umpteenth time for many of us!  What I do know, is that we have some wonderful people here, and wonderful ones in my email as well!

This small tech note turned into a bigger tech note.  Our tropical early morning is just gorgeous.  Beautiful colors in the sky against the rising sun, fluffy drifting clouds, birds twittering, and not another noise to be heard, excepting the coffee machine going burble burble and letting me know there is a fresh brew!
