The empire is hitting back: it will be bloody
The focus is on China and we can expect a wave of aggression as bad as against Russia.

“To win the new Cold War, we must respond to Chinese aggression with tough policies to strengthen our economy, rebuild our supply chains, speak out for human rights, stand against military aggression, and end the theft of Americans’ personal information, intellectual property, and jobs.”
They say this is a bipartisan committee and for once I can believe that.
“Our goal will be to promote overwhelming economic superiority.” This is a link that I never thought I would ever supply.

I don’t know with which dollar they will promote overwhelming economic superiority, but nevertheless, they will do damage.
Militarily the lines are already drawn with Marine Corps general James Bierman saying openly that they are “emulating the groundwork that had enabled western countries to support Ukraine’s resistance to Russia in preparing for scenarios such as a Chinese invasion of Taiwan.”
Of course, he loses the plot in this paragraph pretending that they’ve achieved success in Ukraine. Yet many people accept this as truth.
“Why have we achieved the level of success we’ve achieved in Ukraine? A big part of that has been because after Russian aggression in 2014 and 2015, we earnestly got after preparing for future conflict: training for the Ukrainians, pre-positioning of supplies, identification of sites from which we could operate support, sustain operations. “We call that setting the theatre. And we are setting the theatre in Japan, in the Philippines, in other locations.”

The bombing in Kabul targeted a Chinese delegation.
It’s the second major terror attack in a matter of weeks. The Taliban’s information ministry described that the bomber attempted to enter the foreign ministry at a moment a Chinese delegation was meeting with Taliban officials there.
The previous bombing also targeted a Chinese delegation.
Isis – a key rival of the Taliban – claimed responsibility for the December 12 attack on Kabul Longan Hotel, which left five Chinese nationals injured. Several Afghan military and police were also killed. The assault on the Longan – a hotel run by Chinese that had served a wave of visiting Chinese businessmen since the Taliban took over the country – came less than two weeks after an attack on Pakistan’s embassy in Kabul. In September, a suicide bomber hit Russia’s mission.
The bombings look like tame and handy ISIS types. You know, those that the CIA has on call exactly for these kinds of situations. Their names change according to the situation.
The empire is on a rampage and it is going to be a bloody one. The announced strategy is economic, then military and the last of the trifecta is terror in a country that China is trying to assist to get back on its feet.

The mindset normalizes the notion of a war with China, and that the US has the legitimacy to engage in it. These issues will not be debated. Another issue will not be debated and that is that the US is running on borrowed time.
It was expected that the Repukeblican Party’s imperial ambitions was going to target China. Meanwhile the Dumbercrats haven’t even finished their imperial war against Russia. Much like Orwell’s 1984, they will take turns in demonizing Eurasia and East Asia.

My take on this is that a new stage/phase is being prepared for and the right people are being put in the right positions. There are also the moves in Belarusia … there is integration to be done. Possibly the further integration of the CIS states under that Union agreement… Read more »

it’s interesting that the actions against Chinese interests outlined by amarynth are the actions of terrorists, not the actions of a great power.
