Bolsonaro Rises

Bolsonaro Fights Brazil Election Defeat

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is arguing some votes from the knife-edge election battle defeat to Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva should be “invalidated” after his coalition found “signs of irreparable malfunction” in older models of electronic voting machines.

Gleisi Hoffmann, President of Lula’s Workers Party, branded the move as “chicanery” and an “insult to democracy” despite the Bolsonaro coalition’s audit warning of “serious failures” in the system.

The national currency dropped 1.3% upon news of the complaint.}

Note the compĺaint — voting machines — same as US complaints.  There is a dirty hand here and I say that with certainty. The whole of the US right and far right are Bolsonaristas.

We will now see the fires erupt in Brazil.

Some excellent work here from Brian Mier.

Hi Amarynth Down here in NZ they all seem to have swallowed the Bolsanaro Saint/Lula Bad meme, hook line and sinker. Today I messaged one of our country’s best-known freedom-fighting organisations with this warning… “I have always been a huge admirer of all of XXXX’s work but was very concerned… Read more »

Hi Col mate 🙂 The thing, for me anyway, is that, in general, it seems so easy for the white ppl, standing on a high pedestal of ‘democracy’ therefore ‘free speech’ to comment or worse propagandize the colour ppl, their history and culture, and profit from it, monetary or ‘feel… Read more »

I’m still looking QC for somewhere to emigrate to, but I haven’t come up with anything that looks safe and stable in the long term yet. I will carry on with my DD and hopefully get good advice on anything that looks promising. If I think I have made any… Read more »

Absolutely Amarynth!… I would love this group to interview someone on the Lula/Bolsanaro subject that has more than half a brain and some knowledge of the real situation on the ground in Brazil. Your comprehensive reply above is absolutely first rate and I would love to just send them that…… Read more »

K, Amarynth… I’ll message them right now and see if they will disclose who they actually did “interview”. What’s the bet that the names will be a major giggle when you find out who they actually are? It could well be simply bluster, and the interviews may never have taken… Read more »

I suspect I am not going to get a reply back from them Amarynth. Perhaps the best tactic now is for you to come up with a name of a really honest and knowledgeable person for them to interview and I will message that to them… that way they have… Read more »

Awesome Amarynth, thank you so much, I will politely suggest these people for interviews. Re Pepe… with the utmost respect, I don’t think that this subject is too small for him. IMHO this is a huge issue because the success or failure of Brazil in warding off, what is essentially… Read more »

Amarynth, these folks are very young and you and I both know from the original incoherrent response I received, that their knowledge of history is sadly lacking. My geopolitical journey has taught me that we all must do the historical hard yards in order to make reliable interpretations of current… Read more »

It appears that these people have taken this position in support of Bolsanaro and won’t be reconsidering anything let alone interviewing someone that might offer a different view.

I imagine I won’t be hearing back from them. If I do, I will let you know.
