Analysis of UN vote – August 24th
Clarity is emerging regarding the multipolaristas and the hegemonistas in terms of actual countries.
This essay provides a list of countries involved in a supposed Rebuilding of the Ukraine, a.k.a. the phase of plunder. They are:
- Albania, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Korea (popularly known as South Korea), Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye (formerly known as Turkey), Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States of America, Council of Europe, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Commission, European Investment Bank, Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
The latest UN vote on Russia’s military operation in Ukraine shows growing support for Russia and the increasing isolation of the West. The sentiment has changed drastically since early March.
On 24 August, a UN resolution to condemn Russia’s aggression against Ukraine received support from only 54 countries. This is less than one-third of the total number of UN members (193). And the support level is dramatically lower compared to 141 countries that voted for a similar resolution on 2 March.
If we compare the countries, we can clearly see who is who. The list given contains some 45 countries. The 54 countries that voted for hegemony at the UN, contain a few more, very small and not really influential.
The actual list of the 54 countries voting against Russia is also quite telling: Unsurprisingly, those supporting the anti-Russian resolution were the US, Canada, the UK, EU members, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea. Also worth mentioning here is Turkey, whose vote was driven by its own geopolitical interests in the region.
Félicitations! Again only 56 members turned up for the new gathering of the UN Russophobic club. We saw roughly the same numbers supporting crazy GA drafts of Kiev regime before Feb 24. Reality is that more and more countries now see how damaging Western agenda is for the world https://t.co/M4l4qwPp1h pic.twitter.com/ajPwTGhsWR

This means that Russia is winning the fight for people’s hearts and minds across the globe. Why does Russia have so many friends these days?
The world’s political leaders aren’t blind. Unlike ordinary people in some countries, who remain misled by propaganda in the Western mass media, the leaders are fully aware of the West’s role in protracting the war. They are also clear on the barbaric methods of warfare used by the Kiev regime.
People and country leaders are completely disgusted with sanctions and pressure, and threats. The confidence in the US Dollar has dropped to a low.
Now, the countries that support Russia in its efforts to counter the unipolar world order are growing. Serving the interests of a handful of Western countries at the expense of the rest of the world is yesterday’s news. American exceptionalism and the concept of Manifest Destiny as policy is being rejected. The results of those policies, the bullying of others, superiority, and punitive action (sanctions, wars, revolutions, forced installation of governments of their own choice, their own currency) are increasingly and fast being rejected across the whole world. Lavrov explained it. He said that when he has meetings with Blinken, Blinken understands what Lavrov is saying, but he does not consider it valid or serious, and pays no attention and simply shrugs his shoulders. Now he can go and shrug his shoulders in his own domain.
This also leads to a climate of impunity and these neocons (easily described as fascists or neonazis) really believe that by manifest destiny they are free of consequences. (That is why they talk and make it sound easy to use nuclear weapons for example (they call it limited strikes) as they really believe they themselves and those that they speak for, will feel no consequences).
The fact that there are no consequences for the excesses of these policies (so far) is highlighted by the Chinese formalized governmental statements almost continually now and generally in easy-to-understand infographics.

We’re in the throes of deep change.
Nice to see the global multi-polar tide is changing!
There is something else happening with those hegemonistas. They are being plundered. The euphemisms “nation-building” comes to mind. It reminds me of what the U S of A has attempted to do with Iraq and Afghanistan. The UN is just a useful tool to legitimize the criminal enterprise that the U S of A has been trying to do on its own.
