Some Site News (UPDATE)

Update – Monday, August 22 or 22 August as in the rest of the world.

The weekend went by as planned with a whole bunch of small technical issues attended to. There are some tricks to this site and I’ll write up something separately for that. There is one (or two) tech issues outstanding as of course, I started reporting instead of being focused and completing my part of the work.

This week we give attention to proper commenting. The basic commenting system in here at the moment is the pits and it will be changed. Yet, it is highly secure. So, my tech and I are looking for a balance. We’re also talking about creating a chat room. What do you think?

I had two reports, one from China and one from Portugal that the site was down (while I was sleeping). Did anyone else experience this?

Content planned: picking up one older half written analysis of Putin and Xi’s very long press release after their meeting back in February, before SMO. And then I have some guest writers to post. In addition the next in the series of Latin America is almost done. Country, Bolivia.

So all is well thus far.

People generally compliment and say the site is beautiful. That was the intention and I am glad it is being noticed.

This weekend we will not be posting new information and articles because we’ve been up and in the real world for just a week or so, and there are still a few technical issues to give attention to. This weekend those will be attended to, for example a automatic population of the telegram channel (which I still do by hand as I have not had time to automate it). I don’t see the tags populating anywhere, but they are there. So, where are they (grins). Little things but real things need attention.

Kishore Mahbubani confirms what I have said for years. To take a look at Asia or non anglo-saxon countries, you need to look with different eyes.

Here is another short by Eric Xun Li:

One thing that the Anglos of both sides of the Atlantic Ocean enjoy doing very much is to BRAG and BOAST to the four corners of the world what “great accomplishment” they have achieved to able to justify their genocidal campaigns around the world. Congrats, Amarynth, on the new site. It is compellingly attractive, with a great potential. One suggestion. The front page should be a reflection of the new “World Order Z,” however, all pics look more like “Zone A” Victorian/Neoclassical architecture. A mix of “Zone B” architectural styles from different countries will… Read more »
